My grandparents, on both my mother's and father's side, came here from Russia.
My parents were born here, and met in New York. That makes me a second generation American. And my grandparents could speak Russian. Unfortunately, I can't.
I've been taking a few shots at learning French, so far, not too good. I'm lucky I can speak English!
